An ecstatic expression of high-flying and deep-delving black metal, Empyreal Alpine Lysergy wears its influences with pride yet transmutes them into a unique and triumphant sound: a series of songs that celebrate and channel the ever-shining light in the high mountain air, the frosty mysticism of Sierran snowstorms, and the honest joy of trekking across timeless landscapes with fellow cultists of the greener mysteries. The long friendship and musical alliance of Letharian Rays (Anaximander, Stare) and Dire Wolfkin (Kneipegeist, Eleusis), in union with the unerring power of Blaidd Ysgawen's (Exulansis, Carrion Bloom) voice and support, has produced this monument of evergreen truth. This recording is dedicated to Hiking Metal Punks everywhere!!!
